The Ministry is dedicated to formulating and implementing government policies to effectively and efficiently manage Nigeria’s transport system in the country. The Ministry establishes guidelines on transportation for various stakeholders, and provides infrastructure for the maritime sub-sector, and develops skilled manpower for the transport sector. Economikr has created a sophisticated pavement management system for a PPP (Public Private Partnership) project, under subcontract to T&M. The results of this project were presented at ICMPA (International Conference on Managing Pavement Assets) in 2008.
